Hi Ian,

Indeed, some hall reverb gives that extra feel.

I found the head settings also from Echotapper and TVS. I can't find more relevant information about that in the Internet.
I think this information if very usefull and covers most of the echopatterns
I adjusted the dB levels on feeling. I started for the first heads with a Mix level of 50 and for the next heads 48 and 46 for example.
Hidmp on 5 or 4. I wonder how you adjusted the settings.

As far as see it, it is a mix of using the head settings the information and using your ears for the other settings.

Emiel

Hi Emiel,

I more or less did the same as you, but I still feel there is something missing with the multi-taps not sounding quite right. I think it is a matter of perseverance and patience in getting it right. Of course the halo effect is largely missing these digital units but the added hall reverb and the end of the chain, does a good job of making up for this I think.

Best Wishes

Ian

dave robinson wrote:To answer the question from Ian (Leddo) in an earlier post, I find that the LoFi Delay and Carbon Delay get me closer to the tone of the Meazzi repeats, in fact they are not included on the MS-100BT, but I downloaded them using STOMPSHARE and it cost £2.98 for that little upgrade onto my MS-100BT. I also use the MOD DELAY to get the WOW into the echo.
I have also been experimenting using different echo types in the patches and have heard some interesting sounds, closely related to our Holy Grail. I'm convinced that it's all in there and will get to the bottom of it the more I play around. The trouble is, you need to be alone to do it as it can be annoying for people in the house while you keep playing the same thing over and over to compare. Right now though I'm feeling £600 better off. Stand by for some demos. ;)

Hi,
I wonder if you ever did a demo as I am very curious to hear some.
I programmed some of echo types from the TapeEcho option.
I will post soon.

Hi,

It's a while ago that I said to post a example of the ZOOM MS-70CDR.

This I recorded during a rehearsel last week with one of my bands.

I wonder what you think of the ZOOM MS-70CDR.

Emiel

I think you got it spot on, you got a great sound there, very little difference between yours and hanks, just compared with hank on YouTube.

Good stuff xx

Hi Paul,

Thank you.

Perhaps nice to know is that I play on a Strat which I compiled from different parts, Chinese pickups, only 24,65 pound, and a Fender Champion 40.
The only thing I did was that I swapped the stock speaker for a Jensen C12/50 Falcon.

I owned an AC30 and AC15, but they were far to heavy for my back, and also important, this combination gives me more satisfaction.

I always record the rehearsals with a Tascam DR05 and send the recording to the members so we learn from the mistakes and sometimes be happy if it goes right....

I will look for a recording that will give a better idea of the rolling echo's.

Kind regards,
Emiel

Hi,

As a continuation of my last post I added a track as example of the ZOOM MS70.
The recording is a bit to much compressed, but it gives an impression of the the echo's.

Hi,

Over the years I had many requests for the backing track of Rounding The Cape but I never recorded it myself.
Now, because of the item of the echo machines mentioned in this thread I recorded the tune with one of my bands and post it as an example of the Zoom MS 70.

Hope you like it.

Emiel
