For the record.

Fender Custom Shop 1956 NOS Stratocaster.

Vox AC 15 HW1

Zoom G3X with Ross hall's patches.

That's it. No computer trickery before or after. Nothing added or taken away.

Does what it says on the tin. :D

Forgive me Dave, if I've misread it or got it wrong. However, I took "flat" to mean both Bass and Treble turned off completely.

This morning I've done this. I can't believe the difference. The sound that was very good before has now become even better
due to this simple act.

For those of you who already knew this, why didn't you tell me before? 8-)

For those of you who didn't, you're welcome.

My enjoyment of the Zoom G3X and Ross Hall's patches continues.

Cheers, Alan.

If it's the old early sixties tone you want, on your Vox AC15HW you need to use the EF-86 channel with the Cut control to taste. The click switch needs to be used as well, though it's that long since I used one I don't remember which position, but you can hear the changes as you select each position.
if you want the later ;Flingely Bunty' sound, you use the Top Boost Channel, BASS full on, TREBLE until it bites. CUT to taste. My statement about 'flat' was for those with different amps to Vox, with lots of knobs to turn. You can get a similar 'old' sound from your AC15 out of the Top Boost Channel if you keep the BASS & TREBLE off and just use the CUT. :)
