Hi Dave,
Did you manage to source a reverse taper bass pot? I've had the circuit for about 4 years but couldn't source the correct bass pot at the time so it got stuck on the back burner.
By the way I followed your advice when I had my Burns Marquee in bits for hum screening and fitted a set of AlNiCo Texas Specials to it, the difference is staggering in conjunction with the genuine USA Point Classic trem. I'll probably keep it another 14 years now.

Regards,
Steve

Hi Steve,

I have been looking for a source of these pots for some time now, but yesterday I found a supplier on Ebay. Here is the link:

Hope this helps.

Best Wishes

The reverse taper pots were sourced by AGC and I know they were holding the job up for a few days, but they eventually got some. :)

Noted Dave how did it compare to the S500 and did the tone mods change the normal tone of the guitar at all ?

Those pickups on the S-500 are clearly something special. The tone mod on my Strat made it sound better than it could have sounded before, but retaining it's original sound if I wanted to use it. In an nutshell more versatility. :)
