Looked at the Gibson bass and the tuners have been changed, pickguard missing too. :thumbdown:

The Barney Kessel went for £2200 I would have gone £2k. The G&l legacy £440. I thought the best buy was the Sunburst 1980 ES 335 for £880

Sold for £ 1000... more than I paid for my 1958. :shock:

Yes, I`m surprised of the amount paid. Especially when this bass was rightly offered without any "vintage" hype as a "used guitar", in condition as "appears to be working".

The 4th December listing is up. White Apache Red Apache White Marvin . Many strats and Gibson. Worth a look
