TV Jones have introduced a new mounting for the T Series De Armond pick up. This means you can change your standard fitting Gretsch Filtertrons for a De Armond. I have wanted to do this for ages and this will let me put DeArmonds into my 6120 Jnr.
They are for pre order only. May be relevant to a few of you.

ThanKs for the info.....I've thought about putting these in my White Falcon.....only problem is that it is a bit tricky to do with bits of plastic tubing and string to get everything back where it belongs.....will check the TVJ site out.....

This might help
http://youtu.be/p29QN4ycHMUThis link takes you to Mr Jones himself replacing pick ups in a 5120. Might give you a bit more confidence in doing it

Hi Bill....just watched parts one & two of the video instruction process.....excellent and in depth....shouldn't be a problem if you take your time and approach it methodically......
Are you buying the pickups direct from TVJ?...

Yes Paul am buying direct. I have dealt directly in the past. They answer correspondence extremely quickly are helpful and very friendly. I think they are only taking pre orders direct. Distributors will be a little further down the line.
I purchased Hi Lo tron and Magnatron in the past. They make a big difference - saying that the Gretsch pick ups sound good but you will notice a difference.
I had wanted de Armond in the past but Retro fitting was nigh on impossible. Heard about these coming about 10 months ago
