Hi Arne, I would try another battery just in case its faulty, I would also check the jack socket on the guitar or even try another guitar if you are losing the sound intermittently.

We have three of these currently being used in the band and after three years never a problem of any description. If there is a problem with yours I would recommend you return it for a replacement, as it's still new.

Hello Gary. I am not familiar with what you mean with the english word jack socket on the guitar.

He means the plug socket on your guitar - where you connect the cable. :)

On topic - does anyone have experience using the Line 6 wireless stuff for studio work? Currently I am experiencing an audible 'click, click, clik' when I try to record guitars (don't laugh - but I think it might be the electric fence!). I don't get the noise when using midi - or when mixing - so I am guessing it might be the cables picking up the interference...

If there were no cables......??

Thoughts anyone?

Thanks,

Tony

Arne, like all the other Line 6 Relay users here, I have never had problem. Try using a different cable between the guitar and the transmitter - if the problem persists it is most likely a (rare) fault with the system an you should ask for it to be replaced.

Tony, I can't really answer your question but I can say that when using the Relay at home in my office, where I have all sorts of other electrical gear, I have never experience interference (apart from one of my dogs who feels the need to join in whenever I start to play!)

You could be right about the electric fence. When I visit my daughter in Ireland I get a clicking noise from the amp and when the fence
is switched off it goes away.

Maurice.

Hi Tony
If the noice comes from an electromagnetic field I guess it will go in through the guitar´s pickups, especially if they are single coils, so I don´t think the wireless will help.
