Pickup rewinding

I have a set of Kinman pickups that have been lying around in my spares box for about eight years and I was going to try them on a guitar build I'm working on at the moment. The problem is that one of them isn't working, I damaged it changing the pickup covers and I wondered if anyone had some experience in getting one of these rewound or repaired. I have Ken Armstrong lined up, but wanted to get some info from anyone who maybe had a similar job done elsewhere ?

Just noticed your post about pickup rewinds. I had a similar problem a couple of months ago and I had the rewind done by
Radioshop in Glamorgan with a very fast turnaround, a very reasonable price and it sounded exactly like before.

Thank you , I'd interested in their service Maurice, Kent Armstrong has got very expensive (£60 for a rewind) so would you post the details here please ?
