Access to change valve in VOX AC4TV.

Just wondering what screws need to be removed to get into the back and change the valve. There are 6 large screws (& 2 on the top) nearer to the centre and a further 7 slightly smaller ones round the outer edge. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes I remember now thanks to Jay's posting. The amp is fastened to the back and the two top screws and the outside screws on the back need to be removed, leaving two screws holding the back to the amp, you prize the back away from the cabinet and the whole thing comes away - careful as it's heavy-ish. 8-)

Careful now Alan............

Remember what happened last time you took the back off an amp ;)

As Dave says it's surprisingly heavy when you pull it away from the case & don't forget the speaker wire.

Dick.
