Both my Strats are fitted with Hipshot Tremsetter devices and they work very well.
They are a bit fiddly to install and set up but well worth the effort in my humble opinion.

Cheers,

I have several different types of floating trems on various guitars. I have never done anything to them and they all stay in tune and I have no problem with bending double stops!

It seems to me that people keep inventing non-existent problems so that they can invent something to fix them!

Yes Noel ....my thoughts entirely.
Leo Fender spent some considerable time perfecting the tremolo.
No need for any "add ons"

Me too Noel, fifty years playing guitars with trem bars fitted and never experienced any of those problems. 8-)

Looks like you have started something here Noel. I have 4 Strat type guitars all with the floating
trem and they very rarely go out of tune

Yet, the Strat vintage tremolo is a mechanical aberration, it's a near miracle that it works well (when properly set up) !

I couldn't agree more.

Leo got it right the first time - set up correctly there is no problem.
