Quad settings...

Postby cgrob1952 » 12 Jul 2014, 19:37

Hi Everyone...

I hope someone can help me with a small (I hope its small) issue with a quadraverb plus. On programme 5 the Echomatic reading should be 2 #6 but somehow this has changed to 2 #1. I know that pressing buttons in a wrong order can cause major issues so I'm not ken to just have a crack at trying to reset everything. Anyone got some suggesions please. It would be really helpful to know if others are also still using this. Short of winning the lotto for a TVS3 is it worth upgrading to say a GT?

Any help is much appreciated

Cheers, Rob

The Quad Plus is OK to an extent, but is noisy and there are much, much better machines at a tiny fraction of the cost of a TVS3. The one here that Ecca has shown you is an example and all you should ever need. It's the Etap2hw Automated Eccamatic - Highly recommended ! 8-)

Thank you both for your replies. How easy is an Etap2hw Automated Eccamatic to use. I only ask because I am blind and often rely on either my wife or a support worker to help me alter settings on my amps etc. I can do it but it can take time and the easier it is to just fix to a setting the better. I notice there is an Etap2hw meesage board so I'll have a read on there.

Many thanks again for your time. It is much appreciated.
