Gretsch 6118 Junior

I really like the look of this guitar. Has anyone had a chance to try one. I have a 6120 junior at it is very comfortable to
play. Black top with the rest gold.the only thing I find a bit weird are the silver pick up surrounds and chrome pick up covers thought they would look better in gold or change the pickguard to silver. The Keith Scott version was also a beautiful guitar too. Problem is £2.5k but it does come with a nice case

If I buy one will change the pickguard. Still think gold hardware would look better

6118 comes with the "full size" body, although it is a bit shallower than the standard 6120 series.

Great guitars though, you should be able to pick up a mint example from the US including import duty/vat for around £1100/£1200

They are available over here but there doesn't seem to be that many of them around in the UK.

I recently sold mine & I was able to choose between 3 buyers without having to resort to fleabay.

Go out & buy one you won't regret it :D

I quite like the Cliff Gallup on eBay at the moment. Strange it is classified as a 6120 I thought it would be 6121 item no. 321454057682. Still too much to pay. I think I will wait until a Keith Scott turns up.

Hi Billy

Thats a great price. I think the one on ebay is a 6128, without checking. I would love a Cliff Gallup, Eddie Cochran and Brian Setzer models lined up on my wall but funds dont permit at present lol.
