This Amp is certainly worth considering if you are looking for a small home practice amp equivalent say to the smaller
Vox Valvetronix range.
Apart from being light and portable like the old 60s transistor radios , it has some useful additional features over the Vox.
Firstly you have a separate input for auxiliary sounds like backing tracks from an external CD source. Also good if you require
is USB connectivity and disc programme supplied, should you wish to do recording to your PC etc.
As for sounds , well it has a wide stereo sound separation which IMHO adds to a bit of extra ambience and fullness to the output.
Its onboard controls are good too for sound balance i.e Gain treble mid bass vol/ master and aux vol control work well to blend
a tone to your own personal taste.
If you want only Shadows sounds then the Lead and Clean channels are quite flexible. I don't bother with crunch or high gain, but
it can do that business if desired.
Certainly if you can compare both the Yamaha and Vox range at a local stocking emporium, you will get a better practical appreciation
what suits on a personal basis.

Hi Derrick
Although it does have a Delay/ Reverb function, for any Shadows type echoes an external unit needs to be fed in.
I use a pre programmed Zoom 508/ RFX2000 with EFTP which are quite effective with the TR10.
