It actually plays a dream, lovely neck, fat frets. The body is Honduras mahogany, lightweight which machined superbly.
I used a cheap clear acrylic lacquer first which left a white fog on the finish so I then decided to paint it pewk yellow being as I had a couple of cans in the shed.
Gibbo type bridge, strat P/U. No volume control, jack socket on bottom edge. The strings go round the bottom of the body on a stainless steel semi-tube wrapped around a mahogany turned and shaped diameter piece. That should make for good sustain.
It's a bit awkward to play sitting down so I fitted a strap . Sometimes also the string ends dig in your belly which can make you yowk so I may well fit a cover.
It's big beauty is that it's short enough to go in your bag/case, it's lightweight and best of all, it's full scale.
