Just thought I would mention I had bought one of these recently and I think it is great !
The AC15 and AC30TB models are great matches to the real thing (I own a AC30 Heritage) and lots of EQ and mics and preamp trickery to get a great sound.
The multihead delay IS BASED ON A ROLAND re201 and there is a modulated delay so a suitable approximation of the Shads delays can be done like say on the Tonelabs.
Loads of other stuff in there too and all the amps sound great and great effects (wacky and otherwise) Great reverbs with adjustable predelays. A U67 mic sim as well as the Shure 57. The amps can be adjusted for bias and speakers for thump and resonance.
Put this through a PA channel and away you go with a great Shads sound which you can store in patches to recall at the press of a button.
I have used the POD and other pedals before but the POD HD is great in my view and the price was down to £250 from £350 for the desktop model .
Might never need anything else to play into !
