Vox Night Train

I've had a new amp come today - a Vox Night Train.
I was supposed to have had an AC30 but I never liked the sound of em and anyway, I wouldn't pick one up these days without a chain hoist.
I got an AC30 cab coming and I'll probably put a couple of Celestions in it. ( What would be the best ?)
I just love the sound of an AC15 and it's pretty darned good !

I have one of these I'm trying to sell

As good as an ac15 in my opinion and much easier to carry

If you're using the Night Train (15 watts), you can probably get away with using just one speaker in the cabinet.

It'll handle the power OK and the cabinet will be that much lighter.

Perfectly right. The first AC30 protypes only had one speaker, but it couldn't handle much more than 15W, this is the only reason why they moved to the two speakers model. One speaker is enough with 15W, just like in the AC15.

15W is 15W, if you use two speakers instead of one, each speaker will receive half of the power, so it will not be louder...

It'd be a good idea to fit a square of hardboard across the empty baffle, of course.
