Watching finders keepers earlier today (great film with the late great John rostill) at the beginning when they jump from the train Hank is carrying a Marshall amp head, did they ever use these or was it purely for the film as later on when the shads are playing in the club you can see vox amps.
Thanks

I was just thinking...only in the movies (as the expression goes) would we see The Shadows toss their expensive guitars overboard from a moving train.
Kind regards,
Donna

I would doubt that 'THAT SOUND' ever came in any form from a Marshall amp!
Purely a studio prop!

I had an all-valve Marshall JTM60 that was as clean or as dirty as you wished.
Some very passable Shads tones emanated from it before I flogged it this year.

Hint:
Movies are make-believe and trickery.
