I though there could be a problem when I read Pancho's message, but you cleared that up, so there is no problem.

I am waiting for my friend to bring me his RFX2000 tomorrow. He has the cables and the software on CD (although I downloaded the software from the Zoom website). So, hopefully tomorrow I will finish the job. :)

OK, I have finished installing the J-Patches into the Zoom RFX2000 via the midi cables and interface and the J-Patrches are now installed in the Zoom.

My next question is: how can I acces the Zoom's default patches? When I turn on the Zoom, it goes right to the J-Patches, which are extra patches. But where are the original patches that are stored in the Zoon and how can I access them without having to reset the machine?

Thanks,
Bojan

I remember - if I had loaded the patches into the RFX the original patches are overwritten now by the new onces. This is the same with all digital units.
I would at first save the orig. patches on the PC. With receive all you can do that and save as a zsf-file! You can open 3 - 4 times different patchfiles and each
time a new window will open on the screen of your PC. Now you can decide with drop&drag were you will place your single echopatches / then store and then load !

I did it this way: patches number 1 - 15 were reserved for my Shadows stuff. I loaded the echopatches I used for my Shadowsnumbers into the RFX of course in the
sequence of my setlist. Apache 1 / Atlantis 2 .......... and so on ! Only one step forward and I had the right echo.

The rest of the patches was adapted and reserved to my other musical needs.

Hope it helps !

Yes, I installed the J-patches thanks to your instructions.

The owner of the RFX2000, asked me if he could use the original patches and the J-patches at the same time. I told him that the J-patches had overwritten the original patches, but that he could reset the machine to the factory settings whenever he wanted to, and he said that was acceptable.

Hans, you were very helpful and thanks to you I installed the J-patches into the RFX2000 without any problems and now my friend is using the patches. I discovered that the RFX2000 in combination with the J-Patches gives excellent and very authentic Shadows echoes !!!

Thanks again,

Cheers,
Bojan
