Which Vox Amp

Hi there everyone, as someone who owns the Vox AC30VR, could anyone give me there opinion of the best Vox amp of the modern versions available ?
At home in the bedroom the AC30VR is great, but on stage when wound up it distorts quite a lot and breaks up, turning it down a bit and then putting a mike in front does help, but I feel that a lot of the original tone is lost.

All comments and opinions welcome as this is to be both a home use Amp and for club meetings as well.

Regaeds, Mike

Hi mike, i`ve got the AC15vr which i use both at home & gigging.I find its fine in smallish pubs but mic up for bigger venues.I set the master vol to max then set the channel vol to the req`level. I do have the AC30cc2x with the blue speakers but although its a great amp,due to the weight, gets little use these days.
cheers, steve.t

Try to find an AC15 Heritage Handwound... or failing that, an AC30CC1 and get Amanda to breathe on it for you.
