Well Peter, knowing my good friend's propensity for making all things electric do what he wants them to, I have every reason to be optimistic.
I'll tell you on Wednesday morning.
Cheers, Alan.

Ecca, If you imagine the classic Wonderful Land pattern has four heads, with the last head louder than the first three - all you need to get somewhere near the Apache pattern is knock off head number 2, slow it down a lot and turn down the regen (repeats) on head 4, which is the only head that should have regen activated. The volume of the heads for Apache need to be equal. For Man Of Mystery, Frightened City, The Stranger, Mustang etc, use the same echo slightly speeded up with a bit of regen added.
I have tried to make that as clear as possible, I hope it helps a bit.

Thanks Dave, I think I'll incorporate a preset foe level of each 'head'.
The speed changing complicates things quite a lot so I'll stick with a ' one machine setting'- Wonderful Land.
The feedback will be switchable from any head.

I don't think so Dave, I also intend to incorporate a valve pre-amp to complete it.

It's true !
I just bang the tap button on the Korg thingy according to the rhythm of the 3 tunes that I invariably play.
