transformers and other spares

Is it possible to get hold of transformers for any guitar amp? I dont think it is. It seems to me that when it comes to solid state amps and in particular, solid state/valve hybrids ,once the model is discontinued then some parts become unavailable. [b]Transformers in particular are often custom made.With all valve amps it 's a different story. I've seen people advertise parts for those going back to the 1950s inc. transformers.[/b]
