I have to say I'm with twangaway on this one! Most valve amps are hernia inducing enough already! Or maybe I'm just a whimp
Anyway ply is so much more durable than particle board!! Given the elderly nature of many shads fans I expected whole hearted agreement 
By the way I love the garden pics!! must have been on the one weekend it didnt rain
