Tim

I am sorry if it seems I am stating the obvious - but can't you get one from VML? Are they still in business?

Stuart,

I’ve got a feeling they’ve stopped trading. I’ve sent 2 e-mails enquiring about them, but had no replies.

Tim,

Try ringing them. I think I had issues until I rang them. I think it may be a small company. Take time to respond.

Ian St. John who makes the VML Easy Mute only lives 2 miles from me.

I have been to his house 2/3 times and he works from home making the EasyMute so he might have been away when you tried to email him.

Regards,
Baz.

Baz,

Many thanks for that, I’ll try ringing the number(s) on their website tomorrow/tuesday and see if I can contact him that way.

I understand he has stopped making them for the time being due to illness. Can someone confirm this please/

Perhaps I’ll hold off on the call then, just in case. Wouldn’t want to bother him.

Thanks,
Tim.

I've often wondered whether taking a standard arm, then getting someone to put a 90-degree bend in just the right place, would do the trick.

I spoke to Ian St-John-White today. He has not been well but is hoping to get back into production later this year. Meanwhile he confirms that the contact details on his website are still valid if you wish to express interest.
