Mods - spam / dodgy link alert?

I didn't click on the link for safety reasons but it looks suspicious.

It's actually not a dodgy link, just spam. Coincidentally, one of our other forums has been hit by another fitted-kitchen company. Is this a new strategy?

I hate to suggest this, being opposed to censorship, but since the poster of this apparently only joined to "Spam" us, should it not be deleted and the poster be barred?

This user has been deleted, banned and all posts removed.

My apologies for the fact that I have to work for a living and only just seen this thread.

I'd like to echo that. None of us is able to sit on the site all the time. If something like this hits the site again and you spot it before we do, a PM to one of the mods will trigger an email and is likely to speed up the process of dealing with it.

Thanks to the member who did just that. As it happens Bob had just beaten me to it :)

Whatever next, eh?

Well I was hoping to market some cheap meat products that I've managed to obtain. Would this be considered "Spam"? :?
