NEW CONCEPT MIC STAND SWEEPS AWAY OPPOSITION

Postby noelford » 11 Nov 2012, 09:50

Yesterday at the West Of Wales Shadows & Guitar Club we road-tested the latest in mic b(r)oom stands. This totally new concept is infinitely adjustable for height and angle, thanks to state-of-the-art gaffer-tape technology. The new stand has an additional advantage over its opponents in that it can be used after gigs to clean up the stage.

Ecca, the club meets (roughly) every month at Rhydlewis Village Hall (not far from Cardigan and New Quay). Club dates are:

January 19
March 2
March 30
April 27
May 25
June 22

Shrewsbury, was pretty much a one-off, I think. It was organised by Mark.

Club member Gary, in the picture, brought along that guitar to demo and for us to review. It's a MusicVox, made by a small American company that, apparently, provided guitars for one of the Austin Powers films.

The guitar was... er... interesting...
