Barak Obama and Gordon Brown are shown a time machine which can see 100 years into the future.

They both decide to test it by asking a question each.

Barak goes first. "What will the USA be like in 100 years time"

The machine whirrs and beeps and goes into action and gives him a printout, he reads it out

"The country is in good hands under the new president, crime is non-existent, there is no conflict, the economy is healthy. There are no worries"

Gordon thinks "Its not bad this time machine, I'll have a bit of that" so he asks "What will Great Britain be like in 100 years time?"

The machine whirrs and beeps and goes into action, and he gets a printout.

But he's just staring at it.

"Come on Gordon" says Barak, "What does it say"

Gordon replies,

"Buggered if I know ! It's all in Arabic!"

I bought a time machine next month, but it was faulty. I took it back to the shop and the guy said "Ah, they don't make them like they're going to..."

If you had a time machine, when would you go back to, and what would you do differently?

Biggest wish:

Go back to the exact moment in time my Dad hit his hand at work with a hammer.

This triggered Rheumatoid Arthritis, which involved drugs that damaged his Kidneys,
which eventually ended with us losing him in Feb 2004.

If I had a Tardis, I'd do the above first, then go back to 1961ish and buy a large load of
AC15's AC30's Meazzi's Strats etc.

Just imagine selling Brand new equipment from the 60's on Ebay, I'd be comfortably well off!!

Interesting idea about buying the old stuff.
But it wouldnt work.
What would you buy it with?

You couldnt use credit cards because of the dates on them.
Cash would be a problem too...dates on coinage and of course the designs on the notes have changed over the years.
HEY.. you could invent the strat before Leo did and sell him the idea...

If you went to the late 50s, just think of all the songs you could "write" and sell. Living Doll and Travelling Light would just be a start.
