Was that pic taken before or after the show? Bruce looks like he's stretching after having been sitting down for too long!!!

Apparently they didn't play (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction as they'd reached the O2's strict 11:00 p.m. curfew...

The Stones. ;)
A friend of mine is a Stones fan and went to see The Rolling Stones in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, back in 2006. There also was a support act and he found the support act more interesting and of a higher quality than the performance by The Rolling Stones themselves. I have heard some fans on television recently, saying they thought the very best performances by The Rolling Stones were back in 1979 and after that the quality went downhill.

I like some Stones music but wouldn't rush to see them, especially at the prices of tickets I've read about.

Bruce was probably thinking - my band should still be doing this, we're still very capable.

I think it's Hank who is not really bothered anymore. A Japanese/Far Eastern leg of the 'Reunited' tour was mooted but never got past the initial idea.

Hi
I think the stones Are Trying to do as many gigs as possible before they loose there good looks  :silent: ;)
if you want to hear The Stones as they were in the 60's i can recomend
The counterfeit Stones,
They probably sound more like the rolling stones of the 60's & 70's
than the stones themselves these days, its also a great show with some tongue in cheek comedy thrown in.
tickets are also cheaper !

Can you imagine the comments on you-tube, if Mick, Keith and Charlie were to post a clip from the show under another name ?

and to think that Bruce used to object to Jet just having a couple of pints? Keith Richards used to have a bottle of Jack Daniels on the stage!

I prefer the first couple of years of the Stones and the first three albums with Brian Jones, an underrated bluesman.
