I have a Creative Zen X-Fi which does do wma... I am really pleased with it and the new model came out recently. Mines the 16gb model but you can add extra memory. The X-Fi facility is what makes the difference to compressed soundfiles it restores the clarity and brilliance.

Heres info search web for best deals

I bought a 160gb iPod Classic a short time ago and am going through the boring job of uploading my CD collection, 10,569 tunes so far .......... and quite a bit yet to go.

I had it with me on holiday a couple of weeks ago and just set it to shuffle (random play) and I was amazed at some of the stuff which I had collected but hadn't listened to in years.

Not CD quality (imho), but get a FM unit to play it in the car or you might have a surround sound system which allows you to play it through that and the searching CD racks is a thing of the past.

In addition, there is an amazing amount of stuff purchasable through iTunes - much of it not available on CD. I've downloaded most of the Billy strange albums available, loaded them into the iPod *and* burned CDs, printed off covers etc.
