Jools Holland's interview with Hank and Darrell Higham

Postby Ryan » 04 Aug 2014, 22:09

Hi all,
Did anyone see the interview Jools Holland did with Hank Marvin, Darrell Higham and Imelda May? Darrell Higham got to ask Hank about his influences, which Jools said was a privilege for Darrell, as Hank was among his early influences.
I have seen Darrell play live and 1 of his big influences, was Eddie Cochran. He has made 2 cds of Eddie Cochran covers, which, to me, are fantastic.
I think it is great that this era of music is still going strong, and there are forums like this for younger people, like myself, to talk more about this kind of music and learn more about it. What a great time it must have been for budding musicians, there must have been inspiration everywhere.
