YAHOO!

Postby drakula63 » 17 Aug 2013, 11:58

Am I the only one who is becoming increasingly frustrated and angry at my Yahoo email account?

They seemed to do some 'upgrading' quite recently (or housekeeping or whatever) and since the revamp it is SLOWER and far, far less reliable than it was before! At least, it is for me! I have just tried six times to reply to a couple of emails and just cannot - all I get is an error message. I am sick of it.

Anyone else had similar problems? Sorry but I am just feeling like letting off steam at the moment. Or chucking the PC out of the window... (probably NOT a good idea as it is neither my PC nor my window!)

Hi Chris,
I have been using Hotmail for a few years now without any problems.
Maybe a change of server is in order :?:

Sky recently changed to Yahoo mail and there are times when it goes at a snails pace but most of the time its ok. I do not like the constant ads though, royal pain

Sky email was swapped over to Yahoo some months ago. At first, it was very frustrating, but eventually, I decided to stop using Thunderbird as my mail client and to use the proper full version of Outlook.

Nil problems since.

I am using both Yahoo and Hotmail, and both have been recently upgraded (Hotmail is now called Outlook), both are sometime slow at times, but in most cases are fast enough (I don't use any mail client software).
There is currently a controversy about privacy with Gmail.

Thanks fellas.

The Yahoo account seems to be working OK this morning. I also have a hotmail account, which I created all those years ago (2000) to join this forum!!! Only seems like yesterday...
