JUMBO JET ENGINE STRIP AND REBUILD

Postby anniv 63 » 15 Jul 2012, 11:12

For all us dutiful licence fee payers and jet engine enthusiasts this programme is on
BBC 2 this evening at 8pm.
Fair enough as I am sure there is a minority interest in this subject and has had some
research done by programme makers.
So I wonder if any programme researcher has ever stumbled across The Shadows Web
Community and thought about "Strip my Strat" " Valve Amp Rescue !!!!
Unlikely but anything these days seems to be acceptable to fill up TV hours, so why
indeed not?
Anyone else got views on this?

Hi Mike,

I agree with you 100%.

The Shadows are long overdue for a TV documentory because of their long career alone. I fear that they are seen as "uncool" by some people. TV sometimes, but not always, seems to be obsessed with the new at the expense of the old and established.

Kindest regards,
