Try www.allparts.co.uk or Stewart-MacDonald (http://www.stewmac.com)

By the time you've bought from either of them you might as well have bought a Fender.
Look on ebay, I built a splendid strat for not much.
Body £20, ( already painted ) neck ( beautiful,) £56, gold fittings, inc. trem, all Wilkinson, £60. Most expensive were the Kinman pick-ups which I already had.

I too am building my own and have used ebay suppliers for the parts and also AxesrUs. I spent a bit on my body and found typical prices were over £100 and I am tempted to by a really nice neck as the last part in the chain before I get her built up and finished. My hardware is mostly gold Wilkinson and the trem I got was a WV2 with solid block and push in arm

I had a Strat body made by Jon Manuel to "vintage specs". Two piece alder, fully routed for (iirc) about £80. Really good body. It came unpainted though, but I wanted to paint it myself in cellulose. He is 1jonone on Ebay and this is a link to one of his recent sales -- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Custom-order- ... 4abfb1d3cc

For necks, I like Mighty Mite. The often come up on Ebay but it's worth looking a US sellers too.

I can't fault Wilkinson hardware though the steel bridge block on mine wast cast or sintered so I had a cold rolled steel block made to the Wilkinson spec by Kevin Hurley (About £25). I can't locate his contact details for the moment but if you google celtrocka that should find him
