Custom Shop '59 Shadow for sale

I subscribe to the Music Ground Inc newsletter and this week they have for sale...

Fender Shadows Stratocaster
The following instrument was produced within the Fender Custom Shop and is a detailed replica to
Hank Marvins /Shadows original "59" Stratocaster,
one of only 20 instruments produced and in NEW 10/10 condition can forsee
interest being exceptional high for this specific instrument.
F ull details as follows:

Fender "59" Shadows
1990s Production
Custom Shop
Fiesta Red
Maple Neck
Gold Hardware
Specific custom wound pickups (i.e voiced as per Hank Marvin's original)
Limited Edition 5 /20

Note - The instrument carries two serial numbers, one bearing the number in series (5 -20) and the other
Hanks original serial number of his 1959 Guitar (3)

Condition 10/10
Fender Custom Shop /Numbered Certificate "59" Shadow 5/20

Comments - The above is an exceptionally rare Custom Shop produced instrument as is the first example
I have seen offered for sale for many years previous...

Members should be aware that this guitar was commissioned by Music Ground themselves at the time of the Hank Marvin Signature guitars, but this is not an official Hank sig. nor was it approved by The Shadows. Although the marketing material states that it is an exact replica of 34346, Bruce has confirmed that this guitar was never loaned to Music Ground in order for them to make an exact copy.

Keen observers will examine the photo above and spot the obvious discrepancy... but at the time another was rumoured... know what it is?

Yes David I spotted it straight away (the bridge-nothing wrong with it as it's works well - but incorrect)
If it's a couple of grand then fine- Otherwise I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole - the man is a crook, be warned !

Was Hanks Original 1959 stratocaster supplied with Gold Plated Fittings ?

Yes, Hank's original came with gold fittings and a Bird's Eye maple neck (can't see from the photo if this one has that figured wood), but apart from the modern two point trem that Dave has pointed out, I see it has 22 frets..... :(

its probably the same spec as guitarmania have made occasionally who sell it as a HBM lookalike but stress its not a Sig/Autog
