Refinishing with nitrocellulose lacquer

Postby clarkkj3 » 20 Oct 2012, 11:27

Hi

I'm new to the forum idea and so I hope someone can help. I am building a double necked (12 + 6) strat replica (I know the purists will probably scream with pain) but having 9 guitars of various sorts already I couldn't really justify a genuine strat. I'm relatively confident with the preparation and electronics but need some help sourcing nitrocellulose lacquers that approach genuine Fender colours.

I'm looking for Amber and clear for the neck and solid colours for the body. I'm not sure whether to go for single colours or a sunburst finish. Any help would be much appreciated.
