Posted: 21 Aug 2012, 10:52Over the years eBay has come in for a fair amount of criticism on these boards but it still proves to be a place where bargains can be found. It's not for any music room, the XD is more than adequate in the house.

Hopefully we've all had our share of bargains there? My Klemt Echolette cost me £62 - the following week one went for £302! Fickle innit? My first Victorian sterling silver pocket/fob watch cost me £38 - worth at least £238 now, but not on eBay! I've bought many of my old echoes there - Binson B1 and EC3, Dynacord S62, Split lid Copicat (OK - a bit of a mistake there!) Copicat Varispeed, Quad GT etc. All were "bargains" . ("Honest love!")

I think it goes to prove my point about eBay being a BUYER'S market! Everyone expects a bargain so it's definitely NOT the place to expect top dollar.
