It beats me why folks slate this bloke. I thought he was wonderful in "The African Queen" with Katherine Hepburn.

he's playing alongside shadows records (not backing tracks) and when you can pick out his echoes, theyre nowhere near what they should be.
The TC D2 unit hes using is not capable of the multi tap patterns that shadows type pieces require.
Buying the two units seperately would be around £450 for the TC and the behringer around £60..... a nice little profit margin.
Waste of money!

Posted: 30 Jul 2012, 15:33Yes Robbo, I well remember Guy and the 'fun' we had when he wouldn't stop diging the hole he'd found himself in. I think I mentioned that having the sound track below his playing sounded quite good as an embelishment and he could stand alone on his on skill. However he wouldn't have it as not playing along to the track. As a caveat, I realise I have a history.
Looking at the links given on You Tube to market the echo unit, I notice one guy askes a question:-

Merci pour votre appréciation ,je suis aussi de cette époque,j'ai abandonné la guitare plus de 27 ans pour revenir aujourd'hui vers ma musique de prédilection.

Having had a Zoom 508 unit years ago, it's sat there on the desk in other non promo vids. Frightened City clip shows a quick shot of the unit set to Sleepwalk. All the promo vids uses masks to centre Marc in the shot. No visuals of the equipment room which would really feature the unit quite heavily.
Guy offers a comment to Marc (of himself perhaps).
You can't kid a kidder. Of course I may be totaly wrong and this is only my interpretation
