I think I'm going to build an echo unit using Jean Claude's brilliant idea of using one PT2399 echo chip per playback head.
It won't be anything like as complicated as his wonderful model and I could do with some input from you.
The intention, obviously, is to replicate the echo patterns of a 4 head Meazzi.
I intend to make the controls simple like a Copicat.
Echo level and echo feedback controls.
Push button switches, one for each head.
But...... where, for example does that leave Apache ?
Which head would the feedback be taken from or is it invariably the 4th head ?
Wonderful Land ? 4th head feedback too ?
What does the team think ?

I do have a breadboard should you wish Ecca to test the layout before your final build and allow you to try various ideas maybe useful ?

If you use your breadboard, where will you slice your cobs?

Might it be more ergonomically practical with a rotary selector switch that would, say, select Apache, Wonderful Land, Flingel Bunt etc ?
This is instead of 4 pushbutton switches for each head.

I'd say switching each head is best and more flexible Ecca with a level control for each one

Level control for each one is getting fancy and too complicated .
I want it simple like a Copicat.

Started work on it today in my shed.
Dropped hammer on foot, had to stop for while in order to do swearing.

Here is the first Jean-Claude's echo box made by one of the "pilot builder" :
