One of my local emporiums has just posted a You Tube video demo on this
acoustic which neatly folds down into 3 sections (body/neck/headstock)
strings collapse too, and appear to remain in tune when re assembled very easily
like clunk click!!!
Not cheap and there seems to be a waiting time for these according to Furch Website
Just wondered if the same principle could be applied to solid body electrics?
One advantage might be you could carry on to a flight as cabin baggage rather than a
precious instrument being tossed around in the cargo hold, or careless handling!!!
Anyone have any knowledge of a full size electric fold up is feasible, just as a matter of interest?

I can't say I've seen one yet Mike, but I'll stand hanging up if Ecca Thacker hasn't built one yet. :-)

I fear the phrase 'clunk click' may no longer be politically correct!
