Quite agree, downloaded it yesterday and there's good info in there for fiesta red players. Also a good write up on my latest amp, the Peavey Delta Blues 15.
Also as a result of reading about it, I ordered the Digitech Trio + pedal that I'd had my eye on, it arrives here in just over one hour, something nice to play with. ;)
Thanks for the info Paul.

Hi Dave, Do you think the Trio would be easier to use (and decent quality) rather than a Focusrite 2i2/Computer+Audacity/Spkrs etc. Hope everything is going well on the health side,Cheers k

It arrived at just before 2pm and I've been playing with it since then. You have to be proficiant at playing chords and good with your timing in order to get the bass and drums to do the job. I'm just getting the hang of it and keep going onto you tube to learn what the other guys are doing to get the desired bass & drum patterns. What I did find was that it isn't easy or apparant how to get it to do what you want. Luckily I got it from Gear4Music on a thirty day return should I not like it.
That said I'm getting better with it the more I experiment, it will take patience.
I'm not familiar with the kit you mention Keith, so I can't compare.
Definitely not for a novice, but a good piece of kit if you are prepared to put the time in. :)

As some will have spotted, I deleted my post saying that I was returning it as unsuitable having given the Trio + another try and here's why.
I found at first that it wouldn't play the simplest rock and roll dance patterns which is what I wanted it for, but on further experimenting I did manage to get what I was looking for. The key is in how you play the rhythm chops, if you play as you normally would in a band situation, the machine becomes confused and the bass and drums are all over the place, but if you just play a basic two strikes to the bar at the tempo you want, it picks it up and you get the required pattern from the bass and drums. I tried this in one or two different styles and it works. Still not the simplest tool to use, but managable if you get your head around it and it's sounds are good too. I decided to persevere a little longer as I do have thirty days to put it through it's paces.
The trouble is with all the demos hat you see on Youtube is that they are all rock based with distortion, nobody plays a swing or shuffle rock & roll on those demos, so you have to find it yourself. I did manage to find a suitable Rock Around The Clock and Shadoogie style in there which I couldn't get yesterday, but as I said, it's down to your rhythm chops. The story continues . . . :)
