There is also a 1979 Fender 25th anniversary silver stratocaster previiously owned by Bruce on guitar-auctions.co.uk, lot 50 estimated at £2500 to £3500. Looks well worn and is certified by Bruce.

Are we sure about this?

Are these the long-lost stolen guitars? If not, what are they?

And John's white bass was a one-off last seen at Shadowmania in the possession of Barry Gibson. Is this the green one used in Finders Keepers?

Yes, this sounds INCREDIBLE. Too good to be true, to coin a phrase...

I asked Per for more info and below is his reply

They are authentical. He visited Bruce and bought the guitar from him. The original Rostill
Bass was bought from Barry. Hank Marvins Marvin is the first that he thought was too heavy. I will try to get pics. Cheers

Although not a guitarist, I would LOVE to own these. I shall have to check/buy my lottery tickets immediately!

I have checked with Barry Gibson who replied as follows:

We made a series of Rostill basses, it's probably one of them. The original is owned by a private collector

Perhaps this is the private collector. Seems to have a lot of gear. Let's hope we get some pics.

These are the Burns guitars for sale.
On the left Hanks first Marvin the to heavey one sended back to Burns, in the middle Bruce recognizeble because the small hole on the tremplate (done by John Farrar he inserted a strat tremhandle ) and John Rostills Bass at the right.

BTW Bruce green Marvin recited in Japan...
