Agreed that's a bargain, I fitted the Tronical E-Tune G-Force system to my 335 and it works a treat, recommended, as well as the 50s style Les Paul that I also have, it's a cracking guitar. :)

when it says
•Weight-relieved mahogany body does that mean the body has hollows in it. but that does look a great deal. peter

Yes.

"Weight-relieved" means that the main part of the body (the mahogany back) has several large routings in it, covered by the maple cap.

I have a Les Paul which is weight-relieved (at least, I do until Monday). It is noticeably lighter than the "cooking" Custom or Standard.

I did have a word with a guy I know in a local music shop about all these discounted Gibsons lately. He said he thought that they didn't quite sound the same as the normal expensive ones that that we are used to.
I guess the weight relief on some of these models may indicate that the bodies are made a little slimmer, more like some of the Epiphone versions.

Tony.

There are (or have been) some models with slimmer bodies, but these weight-relieved guitars have the same body dimensions as the classic design. The reduction in weight is achieved by cutting various routings in the base of the body (and hidden by the maple cap).

I have one right here...
