This link was sent to me by YouTube this morning. I don't know why they did, but I hadn't seen it before. It starts with a bit of the Hank video and then moves on.
I appreciate that this will be old hat to some of us and, of course, achieves only one particular sound. But, anyway, here it is...

er... can't agree with your definition of 'Bargain Basement', Iain, given that you need two pedals instead of one! (Costing rather more than a single Stanley eTap pedal).

True, Noel! Although second hand pedals can be picked up for very little. I thought the technique was fun though!
