As you say, plenty of stuff available. What effect do you want it to achieve?

I'm no expert. Just a "Bedroom" player, very much into the Shads. I bought the Behringer and use the Tape mode. It works for me and it's very reasonable priced. There are reviews on YouTube etc. all very helpful and positive.

The TC Elelectronic, Hall of Fame pedal gives a huge range of reverbs, including a very nice spring reverb, my favourite.

I'm very happy with the Marshall Reflector reverb pedal which I recently bought as part of my back-up kit. It has the option to cut off the reverb instantly when you switch it off, or to let it naturally decay. Can be used in stereo as well as mono. I got mine second hand, in excellent condition, for £45, but they're not much more than that brand new.
