Wanted to invite everyone who 'qualifies' to show-and-tell about any music-related gifts that came their way this festive season. Sorry that I'm not in a position to start the ball rolling, but I'd love to hear about (and see, of course!) anyone else's new & exciting kit.
Well, it's me back to the kitchen now to check on the progress of the magnificent four-bird roast that my eldest son generously provided. Chef's duties again.....
Stephen.

Hi Roger,
You wont be dissapointed with those two pedals, I have both of them and they are brilliant.
Best regards,
Baz.

He sure did, my better half sorted me out with a new electronic drum kit for my studio and recordings and my present to me from me was my blue PRS Custom 24 SE. Also got a great book about guitars and amps too, which I haven't put down since opening it. The problem there is, I've seen a few things I fancy . . . . .

MrsM made a large contribution to a 2014 Gibson VOS Les Paul R0 in Dirty Lemon Fade with a V2 neck profile, and now it's predecessor a '59 VOS Burst with Joe Bonamassa/Seymour Duncan Signature pups is up for sale... To pay for the balance
And a limited editions two tone AC4 combo which sounded rank on arrival, so a changed the valves for Mullards. And now it sounds awesome...
Oh, and a really great hoody which has a great pic od a Strat with wings, and the legend "Never under estimate the power of a man with a Stratocaster"...

SWAHTBO saw me a couple of months ago drooling on a display set of 3 custom color strats a 60's CV CAR and a LPB 60's mex and a SFG 62 USA CS gleaming in the shine of nice light...
She had a nice idea...she ask the temp shop assistant to put these trio aside for me....it was his first week and didn't know my Anja.
So he did what him was ask and put these 3 strats aside. Later on the shop owner missed the three guitars and ask the newbie what happened.
After he checked out the name of the woman with a good taste, he start laughing.... that's Rob's wife....and there is no way he knows about this manoeuvre and he would never ever buy a guitar without trying....
The shop owner phoned Anja and ask what the deal was....Anja told him that these three strats together for just under 1000€ was a nice asset to my collection.
Obviously the shop owner was rolling on the floor laughing, he explained Anja the two other guitars without the price tag were different in make and price....
The shop owner and I go a long way back (more then 40 years)and he couldn't care less of Anja's mistake.
When Anja told me what happened I couldn't stop my tears of laughing....
I told her, "nice go honey", but didn't your forget something? The two pedals I ordered on Charlie's site.
Her reply was "ok you get one from Santa and one of your own pocket money......"
Now it will take a few weeks more to get those pedals on my doorstep, so she had the solution for that too...one from Santa and the second one for my birthday in February....

Well, I can understand why Anja did that, Rob. It's obvious from your avatar that you desperately need a few more Strats!
