Hi All,
Has anybody had experience of using the AC30 Heritage amp with EF86 circuit for Shadows numbers? On paper it sounds like a great option but sometimes things don't always perform as one would hope!
Any recounts of personal experience would be much appreciated!
Regards to all.

I have an A 30 H2L and I love the ef86 channel. My ef86 tone cut circuit was altered to closer match the old circuit and to give it more brilliance. However I believe on the unaltered circuit you just turn the cut control more to get similar results. Since then I have tried the top boost circuit with bass and treble fully off and get a similar sound which can be made closer by boosting the input or more recently an AC4 Co with the gain increased gives a good close approximation of that sound.

Hi Roger.
Thank you for the information. It sounds great!
I'm hoping to find one for sale but the are few and far between.
One has come up on eBay but the vendor has decided to put the price up to beyond what I think is reasonable.
Thanks again for answering.

Hi JayBee
I have a AC30 HL limited edition in mahogany cab about 6 years old which is a great amplifier. Trouble is over last year have not been using it that much and I am considering letting it go for the right offer. Let me know if you are interested and any offer by PM.
