Vantage guitars

Postby Ryan » 27 Aug 2014, 18:46

Hi All,
Does anyone remember the guitars made by a company called 'Vantage' (not Vintage)? I had a Dot/Casino shape style 1 in sunburst, many years ago, perhaps late 90's, early 2000's, purchased from 1 way music in Wolverhampton. I sold it in 2004/2005 for no reason other than i needed the money.
I'm sure i read in some guitar magazine, that the factory that made them completely burnt down, consequently because of this, the company ceased to exist. Does anyone know if this is correct?
Cheers

HI,
I am sure the Japanese company Matsumoko made a full brand called Vantage, Guitars and basses.
A friend had a flying Vantage V-Voodoo bass.
