Hi ,

I have a "' '57 Classic Vibe" Which Is Definitely Pink, NOT Fiesta Red.. Has any body Else Got One or Seen One.

Not Fiesta Red on the Classic Vibe Simon Neil model either.
More of a pinky red as I have seen on a Strat as used by Mark Knopfler.
Don't think I will contact Chinese trading standards though!!!!

I have one of the limited run of MIM Hank Marvin Signature strats which is most definitely pink but regarded by many to be "the" authentic colour.

Hi. I don't know if this info will be helpful (and I don't know much about guitars), but when I bought my Squier Classic Vibe 60s guitar (again "60's" not "50's), the info I was told is that it came in two colours: three-tone sunburst, which I bought and it looks a lot like the color Jet's Fenders used to be, and the OTHER color was Candy Apple Red. The store didn't have one to show me, but I went on YouTube and saw a few homemade videos - and to me, Candy Apple Red looked purple-like, not really red. But it's hard to say.

The other thing I've heard, but I don't think I've seen it with my own eyes, is that Squier makes a pink "Hello Kitty" Stratocaster, but I believe that's a starter-kit guitar with a little 6-watt amp, intended for beginners and for children. I bought a starter kit in black, before trading it in for a sunburst CV 60s Strat. My guitar store has a good selection of guitars, but I wouldn't say that choices of colour is their strong point. As for Classic Vibe 50s Strats, they had a two-tone sunburst one with a white/mint green scratch plate that kind of looked like Buddy Holly's colour, but I don't know of any other possible colours for the 50s Series.

Hope this helps. I think you may have seen the Candy Apple Red Classic Vibe 60s Strat, but I don't know.

The Squier 'Classic Vibe' series has both a '50s & a '60s version of the Strat in Fiesta Red. The '50s version looks similar to the MIM '50s Strat & the '60s version is called the 'Simon Neil' signature model & has the Rosewood board & 3-ply scratchplate.
They both look Pinkish in the right sunlight, as does the actual Fender colour. The Simon Neil Strat may only be available in the UK/ Western Europe, as he is the guitarist in a famous Scottish band.
