It's now a rare item, Patrice Bastien has stopped producing them. The description says it's designed to work with an Alesis Q2 or Q20, but in fact it will work with any echo unit, the best results being obtained with those which can send back echoes only, without the dry signal.

How do these work? I cant figure out how it affects the echo without the guitar signal used with a Q2 ? regards Gary

The PB Box only works on tone. Echoes must be provided by an external unit. But best results are obtained when tone processing is done separatly on dry signal and echoes, athough the PB Box has a switch allowing to work in both modes.
Keep in mind that the Meazzi echo units had little tone effect on the dry signal, and a lot on echoes...
