Epi Joe Pass,with Bigsby B6...sounds even better with the Bigsby.
Thomastik-Enfeld 12-50 flatwound Jazz strings.

I too like the look of the Guild Manhattan, pickups look quite like P90s, which could probably work for Duannes stuff, though I agree with Dave Dynasonics are prbably better.
Inotice that in the demo one guy was using the neck pickup so the tone was quite mellow and jazzy but I would love to try one in the middle or bridge position with a bit more reverb and slapback. Ive got a Gretsch 6122 with Filtertrons and that doesnot really do DE stuff that well. On the otherhand my Duojet with dynasonics gets much closer as does my jazzmaster!
