By the way, I forgot to mention that my new Tele is 'flash-coated' (Fender description) with a very thin coat of Nitrocellulose lacquer. I guess that means that it will wear away quite quickly & I may end up with a 'Relic' aged finish. I am not into those distressed finishes, but not much I can do about. But, the guitar certainly is very resonant.
