I thought Bruce still had his white Burns? He certainly used it at Shadowmania and it was also used by Neil of the Rapiers when they did a Burns set on a couple of occasions. Maybe he had more than one?

He had two. The other is/was green sunburst.

If as stated, then these are essential and irreplaceable, not to say priceless, pieces of Shadows history.

I would buy them tomorrow, if I had the money, and hang them on my wall - eventually donating them to the Hard Rock Café for display purposes.

The middle one is Bruce genuine old Marvin...I've pictures of this Marvin together with the 34346 and the black Vega...
Btw the use of this original Marvin at SM as some remember....that was years ago and says nothing of it's ownership years later!
The last time he used a Marvin at SM it was just simply his 2004 anniversary sample , look closely at the upper plate it shows BW engraved.
The Marvin of Bruce has small details diffren't as Hanks, but the eye openener is the small hole on the tremelobaseplate made by John Farrar for inserting a strat tremhandle when he used it in the 70's ....
The greenburst one was sold years ago to a Japan fan.

The green Marvin that belonged to Bruce was sold by Burns to a guy called Colin Sellers of Letchworth in January 1967. Hank and John told me in 1969 that the green Burns - except Hank's- had gone back to Baldwin for refurbishment and had not been returned.

Colin bought it and we corresponded about the guitar.

Here is a pic and the receipt. He has now sold it

Hanks greenburst Marvin turned up on stage in somebodies else hands ....ask Dave Robbo he saw it and told the shads managment...apperently they wern't intrested at all.
